Andrew Milne is a Senior Associate in the Insurance and Reinsurance Group.

His practice is focused on financial lines claims and complex coverage disputes. He has a particular interest in D&O claims having recently co-authored the UK Chapter of the Third Edition of Directors' Liability and Indemnification.

He advises insurers on claims involving directors & officers, financial institutions, finance professionals and others, and assists in drafting their policy wordings. He helps insurers to find solutions where difficult issues arise. He provides counsel to directors faced with claims and regulatory inquiries.

Most of his work is international-related. He has advised on claims in Ireland, the US (including Florida, California, Nevada, Illinois, New York, Delaware and Washington DC), Brazil, Colombia, Mauritius, Italy, Poland, Turkey, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, Belgium, the Isle of Man and Singapore.

He has drafted policy wordings for leading London market insurers including D&O, Cyber, EPL, Crime, Pension Trustees, and Civil Liability wordings
