Christopher is a Senior Associate in the Corporate group. He advises on a range of transactions, including domestic and cross-border M&A (both private and public), joint ventures, restructurings and corporate governance matters. Christopher has acted for public and private clients across a number of sectors, including financial institutions, consumer retail, energy and government.

Prior to joining the team, Christopher was a corporate associate at a leading international law firm in London. Christopher has also spent time on secondment to the in-house legal teams of Oxford Nanopore Technologies and Intertek.

  • Hammerson in relation to the buyout of its joint venture partner in the Oracle Shopping Centre, Reading for GBP 104.5m.
  • Greencore in relation to its GBP 1.2bn recommended acquisition of Bakkavor.*
  • Sotheby’s on its USD 1bn sale of a minority stake to ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based investment and holding company.*
  • Bunzl on its acquisition of Nisbets for an initial consideration of GBP 339m.*
  • aberdeen in relation to its GBP 1.49bn acquisition of interactive investor.*
  • Aviva on the GBP 2.8bn sale of Aviva France to French insurer, Aéma Groupe.*
  • An international luxury fashion house on a multi-billion dollar disposal, joint venture and associated business sales and purchases.*
  • Various listed companies on their share buyback programmes on a number of stock exchanges.*
  • Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities on the self-remediation terms to be entered into by major residential property developers in response to the Grenfell Tower fire. *
