Craig is a Partner in the Corporate team specialising in energy acquisition, disposals, joint ventures and reorganisations. A significant amount of this work has been in the clean energy sector and he has advised on numerous transactions and projects in respect of onshore wind, solar and battery storage. Additionally, Craig has advised on significant oil and gas transactions and on the acquisition and disposal of energy service companies in respect of both oil and gas and renewables. Craig is part of the CMS Energy and Climate Change practice and has for several years been recognised by the Legal 500 as a Rising Star for Corporate and Commercial: Elsewhere In Scotland.

Relevant experience

Neo Energy on the $1B (plus) acquisitions of the UK oil and gas assets of Exxon Mobil and JX Nippon and completion of the acquisition of a package of UK North Sea oil and gas fields from Total.
Expro on the $210m acquisition of oil and gas service company Coretrax.
ConocoPhillips on the $2.7b sale of its UK E&P business to Chrysaor.
