Eleanor is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team with over 13 years' post qualification experience. She advises clients across diverse sectors including infrastructure owners, developers, specialist investors and funders on all types of real estate transactional work. Eleanor specialises in renewable energy projects and has worked on a variety of offshore and onshore renewable transactions, including site assembly and purchases, sales, compulsory purchase, easements and commercial leasing.

Eleanor manages her own cross-office team of dedicated paralegals who assist on all her matters. In 2025, she was recognised by National Grid for leading their Property Advisory Group, a collaboration across their panel firms, and specifically for her work on overhauling their precedent options.

Relevant experience

  • National Grid Electricity Transmission Plc in relation to the Eastern Greenlink 1 and 2 Interconnector projects, implementing the land rights strategies and leading on negotiating the options and deeds for the voluntary rights acquisition, with EGL2 involving over 140 parcels of land and 150 plus different landowners.
  • Triton Knoll OFTO Limited on the acquisition of the onshore/offshore cable route and ancillary land and equipment serving the Triton Knoll Offshore Windfarm.
  • Cleve Hill Solar Farm Limited on the site acquisition, DCO process and sale of Cleve Hill Solar Park, a flagship solar and battery development consisting of 373MW of solar and more than 150MW of battery energy storage.
  • A specialist funder in relation to solar and wind farm fundings and acquisitions, including a GBP 105m funding for the acquisition of a solar farm portfolio of approximately 135MW.
  • A solar developer on the funding and then disposal of a portfolio of 19 solar farms with a total capacity of approximately 105MW, and then assisting on developing their pipeline of larger post-subsidy development projects.
