Elizabeth-Anne Larsen is a Senior Associate – Solicitor Advocate in CMS’ Litigation and Arbitration department. She is also an active member of the Lifesciences and Healthcare groups at CMS and specialises in healthcare litigation/advisory, products/medical device litigation, and pharmaceutical litigation.
Elizabeth-Anne is dual-qualified in both the US (Texas) and England & Wales. Having been a trial lawyer in Texas for nearly 7 years before practising in the UK, she particularly enjoys advocacy and regularly represents clients in tribunal investigations/hearings, inquests, and interlocutory applications at court.
Elizabeth-Anne has vast experience in both jurisdictions in various matters of healthcare law, including multi-district litigation (US) and group litigation (UK) involving various pharmaceutical and medical device products; representing individual healthcare providers in claims, before their regulatory boards, and at inquests; advising hospital organisations on contractual, consultant arrangements, competition, and liability issues; and representing pharmaceutical/bio-tech/other lifescience companies in other litigation. Elizabeth-Anne has also given presentations on the issue of privilege as it relates to internal corporate investigations. Elizabeth-Anne’s experience in both the US and the UK provides dimensional perspective relevant and pivotal to global clients.
