Emily is an associate in the Technology & Media Team and a member of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecoms Sector Group. Emily advises on data protection compliance, artificial intelligence and technology contracts. 

Emily has been qualified for over 7 years, 3 of which she spent in the United States working on international compliance issues and coordinating multijurisdictional matters. Emily has advised clients across multiple sectors include energy, gaming, cyber, finance and education with a focus on digital issues. Examples of her experience include advising clients on the use of children’s data, AI governance frameworks and negotiating and concluding technology contracts for a range of suppliers and customers. Emily has also spoken at a number of international conferences on AI, such as the iTechLaw European Conference in 2025. 

Outside of work, you will find her swimming, biking and running training her next triathlon.
