Hanna trained at CMS and is a Senior Associate in the Infrastructure and Projects Team. She has particular experience in the transport, defence, onshore and offshore wind and healthcare sectors having advised procuring authorities, project sponsors and lenders on infrastructure projects in the UK and abroad. 

Relevant experience

  • The King Fahd Causeway Authority on the development of a new rail and road PPP project between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia with estimated construction costs of $3 to 4 billion.
  • The MoTC on behalf of the government of Belarus in relation to development of the M10 road project in Belarus.
  • Aspire Defence Limited in relation to a £1.1bn extension to a major defence PFI project, consisting of the award of a new construction contract and the extension of the scope of services accordingly.
  • Lenders in relation to an over $30m extension project, and other system upgrade variations in respect of an operational rail project in Canada
  • Korfez in relation to its acquisition of freight locomotives from Stadler for use on the Turkish network, and the maintenance of rolling stock it has procured from Stadler, including the provision of spares.
  • The project company on all aspects of putting in place framework agreements with three contractors to competitively call off major operational services for a large offshore wind farm.
  • The project company on developing and financing one of the world’s largest floating offshore wind farms. 
  • Bidders on two separate occasions in relation to bidding for an offshore electricity transmission license, including due diligence on the construction contracts and drafting and assisting with the negotiations of the O&M contract. 
  • The asset owner in relation to operational phase issues in respect of EPC and O&M contracts in respect of a portfolio of eleven solar farms.
  • Project companies and funders on a number of onshore and offshore wind farms in the context of acquisitions and refinancings in the UK and in South-East Asia.
