Jack Rigelsford is an associate in the Intellectual Property Team.

Jack has a focus on intellectual property issues in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, the metaverse, additive manufacturing, 3D scanning and cryptoassets. Jack has recently advised clients in the insurance, media and health care sectors on the opportunities, risks and legal implications of generative AI, in particular relating to copyright and contractual issues. Jack has presented to clients on the advertising and regulatory considerations when deploying consumer-facing AI chatbots. Jack is also a contributor to the LexisPSL practice note on artificial intelligence and intellectual property.

Jack advises a broad range of clients, including those in the media, technology, pharmaceutical and sports sectors on a variety of IP issues. He provides advice on matters including brand protection, commercial agreements and trade mark, patent and copyright infringements.
