Juan Carlos trained at the Glasgow City Council, the largest local authority in Scotland. Upon qualification he joined the Corporate & Commercial department of a large Scottish firm before joining the Energy & Infrastructure team at CMS last year.
Since joining CMS, Juan Carlos has participated in numerous commercial infrastructure projects related to education, healthcare, and renewable energy across the UK. His experience encompasses representing both private and public sector clients, as well as funders, on a diverse range of complex projects.
He has particular experience in advising on operational and distressed PFI/PPP projects including advising on settlements, major variations and changes to service contracts.
