Kelly is an associate in our Planning Team in Sheffield. She deals with due diligence for investors and developers and the drafting and negotiation of planning and highways agreements. Kelly also provides advice on a wide range of planning issues such as the implementation of planning permissions, the process of obtaining a stopping up order and the riparian ownership of watercourses.

Kelly is a member of the Women in Property, Yorkshire and North-East committee. 

Relevant experience

  • Completing planning and environment due diligence in relation to property sales and purchases including the purchase of multiple retail parks for a major investment fund. 
  • Working for a large commercial real estate manager, drafting planning agreements.
  • Carrying out planning due diligence in relation to property purchases including advice relating to the proposed installation of mezzanine floors and the provision of an advice note relating to stopping up orders for a large supermarket chain. 
  • Providing advice in relation to assets of community value for a pub chain.
  • Completing planning due diligence in relation to the acquisition of premises for use in the life sciences sector.
