Laura is a Senior Associate in CMS’s Energy and Climate Change practice. Laura works with utilities, independent developers, lenders and contractors on conventional and renewable energy projects. Laura advises on project financing of energy projects, acquisition and disposal of energy projects, drafting and negotiating key project contracts, regulatory requirements for energy projects and pro bono advice for energy projects. 

Laura has a personal and professional interest in climate change law and Net Zero, is a member of 2050 Climate Group’s Young Leaders Network and was a finalist for the Professional Service Award at the 2020 Scottish Renewables Young Professionals Green Energy Awards. 

With more than 450 energy and climate change lawyers, including over 100 partners, the CMS Energy and Climate Change practice is one of the largest of its kind in the world. Led from its centres of excellence such as London and Aberdeen, the practice works across 75 offices globally.
