Lauren Cathro is an Associate in the Pensions Team and joined CMS in January 2022, having qualified in March 2019.
Lauren primarily advises trustees of occupational pension schemes of all sizes, and also has experience advising sponsoring employers and insurers. Lauren is comfortable leading as pensions counsel on M&A deals, and significant experience includes advising on Microsoft’s strategic acquisition of Metaswitch Networks in May 2020.
She continues to work closely with her colleagues to ensure that she gains exposure to a broad range of work. Currently, Lauren is focussed on de-risking transactions for trustee clients as well as ongoing scheme governance, such as benefit queries, GDPR compliance and assisting clients with adapting to a changing regulatory environment.
