Leontine (Lea) Mathew is a Senior Associate and Solicitor-Advocate in CMS’ Infrastructure, Construction and Energy Disputes Team, based in London. She specialises in the avoidance, management and resolution of commercial and regulatory disputes in the oil & gas and power sectors, both in the UK and internationally.

Leontine frequently advises on complex and high-value issues, and has extensive experience with international arbitration, commercial litigation, judicial review, expert determination, regulatory investigations, mediation, and other statutory dispute resolution procedures in the energy sector.

Leontine joined CMS in 2013. Prior to this, she was part of the in-house legal team at an AIM-listed oil and gas company.
