Pension Insurance Group (“PIC”) on “Habiko”, a 12 year tripartite multi-site joint venture with Homes England and Muse Developments to deliver 3,000 low carbon, affordable homes for the rental market.
McLaren Property and Arlington Real Estate on the GBP 1.1bn 112 acre York Central Regeneration Scheme, in partnership with Homes England and Network Rail. The scheme will include the delivery of 2,500 homes and 1m sq ft of offices, retail and leisure spaces.
Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) on the GBP 265m forward funding of 2 Ruskin Square, Croydon opposite developer Schroders. The 334,940 sq ft grade ‘A’ office space will be home to 3,000 employees of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
The acquisition by Land Securities of a 75% share in Media City, Salford from Peel and L&G for c.GBP 450m.
Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) on the GBP 105m forward funding of no 9 First Street Manchester. The 130,000 sq ft building will be home to 2,500 employees of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
AimCo and Ridgeback on the purchase of a GBP 283m portfolio of five UK build to rent assets under development from Angelo Gordon.
Mountpark Properties on its sale to JP Morgan of a pan-European portfolio of industrial and logistics assets with a value in excess of GBP 500m.
Manchester Airport Group on the disposal of its non-operational property portfolio across Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted Airports to CTI Threadneedle for a consideration in the region of GBP 350m.
Tristan Capital on the acquisition of a portfolio of recently completed (and in part pre-let) “shed” schemes at Kettering, Redditch, Avonmouth and Poole from RCL Richardson for a price in the region of GBP 200m.
AimCo on the acquisition of a dozen industrial estates from Starwood Capital for a value in excess of GBP 250m.
Leading the real estate team for two Canadian Pension Funds, Quadreal and PSP, on their joint venture and initial GBP 750m cash placing with URW in relation to Cherry Park, Stratford, one of London’s largest PRS schemes which will deliver 1,200 new homes.
Far East Consortium on Northern Gateway, one of Manchester’s most ambitious housing-led regeneration projects across 300 acres and 10,000 housing units, expected to generate around GBP 1bn of investment over the next decade.
