Michaela Potter is a Partner in the CMS Dispute Resolution Team.

Michaela acts in complex, high-value commercial disputes across a range of sectors. She has a particular focus on civil fraud and contentious insolvency matters, and has a broad range of experience in cross border asset tracing exercises and office holder claims. She also has experience and expertise handling technology related disputes and matters arising from outsourcing arrangements.

Her practice spans the full lifecycle of commercial disputes, from early risk assessment and pre-action strategy through to trial. She is experienced in alternative dispute resolution (including mediation) and in dealing with applications for urgent interim relief, including search orders and freezing orders.

Michaela was previously seconded in-house as interim Head of Litigation to a major FTSE 100 savings and pensions provider, allowing her to gain a valuable in-house perspective.
