• EMEA Communications Compliance Legal at Amazon Leo, responsible for network security, cybersecurity, regulatory engagement, lawful interception, and legal issues relating to operationalising services in EMEA.*
• Legal Director at BT, responsible for transformation and special projects including responding to Russian sanctions, securing 5G spectrum from Ofcom, research and development for the BT and EE networks, and product launches.*
• Head of Brexit Planning and Policy at BT. Provided leadership within a Pan-BT transformation role, reporting directly to the Group CFO and Head of Policy, co-ordinating BT’s response to the outcome of Brexit negotiations, planning for all possible Brexit scenarios.*
• Lead Counsel for EY’s Global robotics processing automation software procurement strategy.*
• Lead R&D counsel at the BBC. Supported the CTO team developing hardware to live broadcast the journey of the Olympic torch around the UK. Finalised and managed agreements with O2, Vodafone, Huawei and 2 start-up technology companies to offer live broadcast over 3G for the first time in the UK.*
• Counsel at Tesco Mobile. Responsible for telecommunications, regulatory and commercial legal issues relating to Tesco Telecoms and Tesco Mobile in the UK, a joint venture with Telefonica O2.*
