Sebastian Casselbrant-Multala focuses on EU/U.K. competition and antitrust matters. He has a broad range of experience before the European Commission, the Competition and Markets Authority, the U.K. High Court and the Swedish and Finnish competition authorities in matters relating to EU and national behavioural and transactional competition as well as regulatory law. 

Sebastian trained at a leading UK-based firm in London, and has previous experience from the London and Brussels offices of two US-based international law firms.

  • A global pharmaceuticals company in a UK follow-on damages action.
  • Two UK media groups on competition law aspects in relation to their subscription video-on-demand joint venture. 
  • Macquarie and Siemens in relation to competition law in connection with the launch of the Calibrant Energy Joint Venture. 
  • The Ad Hoc Group of Senior Secure Noteholders on the restructuring of Travelex. 
  • A Japanese conglomerate on the EU, Russian and Turkish merger control aspects of its EUR 1.16bn acquisition of a market leading provider of value-added logistic process automation.
  • A U.K. health care group on the U.K. merger control aspects of its GBP 835m acquisition of the U.K.'s leading private dental provider.
  • A specialised automotive component solutions provider on the European Commission merger control aspects of its
    EUR 571m voluntary recommended public tender offer for a Finnish-listed designer and manufacturer of wiring systems and electronics.
  • A European investor in the potential acquisition of its main competitor, advising on the EU merger control filing and associated remedies package.
    Representing complainants and third-party respondents involved in various European Commission and U.K. Competition and Markets Authority antitrust investigations.
