Sokratis is a lawyer in the Commercial team at CMS Budapest.
He was a trainee in CMS UK for one year before moving to CMS Budapest in August 2023. He has assisted in various transactions, including drafting contracts, and helping with completing large projects. He also has experience in pensions work and has undertaken extensive legal research, especially on regulatory issues, whilst drafting advice notes on numerous legal questions under Scottish law and English law.
Sokratis studied Scots Law with the French Language and spent his third year at the University of Strasbourg studying French law, European law, and Comparative Law. He also worked for a Greek law firm during the summer of his first year, gaining an insight into Greek law. Since joining CMS UK, he has dealt with English law as well as Scots law and has previously provided multijurisdictional advice.
He studied at the University of Glasgow where he gained a diploma in Professional Legal Practice (DPLP) with merit and Frist Class Honours Scots Law LLB with French Language.
