Relevant experience
The following were undertaken at a previous law firm
On the drawdown of funds by a prominent lender to the owner of several office buildings in the centre of Glasgow. This transaction involved but was not limited to the drafting of standard security documents to ensure the lender's interest was properly secured and the review of a substantial number of leases and ancillary lease documents;
Preparing certificates of title in relation to the sale by a client of their interest in a number of developed wind turbine sites across Scotland;
On the purhcase of a petrol station on behalf of an established operator with premises across the UK. Consideration had to be given to the specifics of the use of the property and diligence required in relation to this, for example a petroleum licence and vapour recovery documentation etc.
On the handing the property elements of a corporate sale by a large bus operator. This involved negotiation around warranties and indemnities to be included in the share purchase agreement and also disclosures via the disclosure letter and ensuring any property ancillaries were accurate.
