Valentina Santambrogio is a partner in the international M&A, private equity and venture capital team.

Valentina has a focus on cross-border deals and a particular expertise in the private equity and in the technology and telecoms sectors, having advised several businesses and PE investors on their transactions in that space.

Valentina regularly takes on a coordination role to ensure clients receive seamless and top-quality advice and she works with colleagues from specialists teams and external advisers on a daily basis and therefore has considerable experience in ensuring that input from various sources and multiple jurisdictions is efficiently processed and delivered to clients in a user-friendly and commercial manner.

Valentina is also a champion of legal technology and wherever possible she ensures that the latest software/AI available to the legal sector is used on the transaction to improve processes and deliver cost-efficiency for her clients.

Advent International on the co-investment and management incentive aspects of the acquisition of Integer.pl S.A. and its subsidiary InPost S.A., as well as in connection with the subsequent IPO on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, which raised EUR2.8bn and valued the company at EUR 8bn.
Advent International on their acquisition of Zentiva, Sanofi’s European generics business, for EUR 1.9bn.
A French private equity fund in respect of its potential acquisition of a European telecoms business (including due diligence coordination, as well as transaction documents negotiation).
Cinven, on their acquisition of PPF, a European pet food manufacturer, which involved completing due diligence across multiple jurisdictions and negotiating transaction documents within just three days, coordinating a team of 60+ pan-European CMS lawyers.
Cinven, a leading European private equity firm, on their bid to acquire the Slovenian government's stake in Telekom Slovenije d.d., including coordinating buyer W&I.
AfricInvest, on their equity investment in a tech company based in the UK, France and North Africa, as series A lead investor, including carrying out due diligence, drafting and negotiating subscription and shareholders agreement and new articles of association
Oakley Capital on the USD 105m acquisition of the business and assets of Plesk, a global leader in cross-platform web solutions with entities in various jurisdictions including Spain, Switzerland, Canada, Russia, Singapore, Germany and Japan (including negotiating the terms of the investment agreement with management (which featured rollover mechanics), as well as the transaction documents and coordinating asset transfers in the local jurisdictions).
Instadeep, an artificial intelligence solutions business with offices in London, Paris, Lagos, Tunis, Cape Town and Dubai on their series B equity fundraise.
