Victoria is a senior associate in the Construction Disputes Team. Victoria has experience advising and assisting employers, contractors, sub-contractors and design team professionals in relation to the resolution of complex construction disputes. Victoria has experience assisting with, and handling a broad range of construction disputes, including pursing and defending parties in the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session. In addition, she has experience in adjudications, arbitration work and negotiating settlements on high value international projects, together with smaller national projects and disputes.

Relevant experience

  • A subcontractor in relation to an international arbitration on an Energy from Waste Project.
  • A developer in a dispute with their project manager in respect of a luxury residential development. 
  • A civil engineering subcontractor in successful defence of an adjudication for loss and expense in respect of an NEC3 standard form. 
  • An employer in relation to multiple adjudications on behalf of a developer of a residential housing development.
  • A developer of a 62 MW Windfarm Project on time and money claims arising out of delays to the Project.

Education

  • 2018 - Admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland.
  • 2016 – Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, University of Glasgow, Glasgow.
