Warren is Senior Knowledge Counsel in the CMS Real Estate Team in England. His role primarily involves providing advice, guidance and support to the team’s transactional work. Warren has been at the firm for over 20 years with previous roles including in-house and at a Magic Circle firm.
Warren has a number of significant roles within the property and legal industries. They include:
- Secretary of the City of London Law Society Land Law Committee
- Member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing and Land Law Committee
- Member of the Law Society’s Property Section Committee
- Member of the Better Buildings Partnership’s Green Lease Toolkit drafting Committee
- Member of the drafting Committee for the proposed new edition of the RICS Professional Standard on Service Charges in commercial property
- Member of the Steering group of the National Connectivity Alliance
- Member of the Land Registration Rules Committee
- Member of the Model Commercial Leases Committee
- Warren is an active writer for property publications including Estates Gazette and the Law Society’s Property in Practice, and is a regular public speaker.
Warren is also a trustee of Shenley Park Trust.
