Recently, CREFC Europe and CMS brought together real estate finance lenders and property owners from the UK and US, along with the Green Finance Institute, to discuss their experiences and thoughts in relation to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters. Amongst topics discussed were the challenges and opportunities in this area, how ESG has been impacted by Covid-19 and what could be next for the real estate industry. This report explores the takeaways of those discussions.
