FCA: Financial promotions data
FCA has published its latest financial promotions data, both for the year 2023 and Q4 2023. FC notes that that over 10,000 financial adverts and other promotions were withdrawn or changed in 2023 following regulatory intervention, an increase of 17%, year-on-year. FCA also highlights that it issued 450 consumer alerts regarding illegal cryptoasset promotions between 8 October 2023 and 31 December 2023.
