CMS advised Korean investor Hana Alternative Asset Management (HAAM) on the acquisition of the office building EDGE Amsterdam West at Basisweg (Amsterdam Sloterdijk) from Edge Technologies (OVG). The iconic building (an office building with an adjacent building) consists of approximately 52,500 square meters, will be refurbished completely and is almost fully let. The tenants are Alliander, APG, APB and Intertrust.
Smart, sustainable and healthy offices
The building is currently being transformed into a building that should serve as an example for smart, sustainable and healthy offices. As a smart services provider, Edge Technologies will remain involved in the long-term efficiency, optimization and use of the building.
CMS advised HAAM on all legal aspects regarding the acquisition and financing of this building: property law, lease law, development/construction law, planning and zoning, insurance, energy law, intellectual property law and financing. CMS also acted as the notary for completion of the transaction.
