CMS Portugal advises VINCI Energies Portugal on the acquisition of AMT – Consulting S.A. in Portugal

CMS Portugal advised VINCI Energies Portugal on the acquisition of AMT – Consulting S.A., a Portuguese company leader in HCM (Human Capital Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions and a benchmark in multiple SAP solutions, including SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba and S/4HANA.

Founded in 2006, AMT Consulting has a prominent position within the SAP ecosystem in Portugal with its 245 employees. It is recognized for its deep expertise in Human Resources solutions, its high level of technical specialization, and the trust of major clients across various sectors, including banking, industry, utilities, and services. With offices in Lisbon, Porto, Funchal and Ponta Delgada, it generated in 2025 a turnover of €15 million.

The multidisciplinary team at CMS Portugal that advised VINCI Energies throughout the acquisition process was led by Partner Francisco Xavier de Almeida and Managing Associate David Apolónia, with support from Miguel Santos Ferreira (Senior Associate) and Rita Guerra Alves (Associate), all from the Corporate M&A practice area. The team also included the following members: Luís Miguel Romão, Partner in the Competition & EU practice area; Sara Rocha (Senior Associate) and Catarina Ferreira da Silva (Associate) from TMC/IP; Leonor Barata da Cunha (Associate) from the Labour Law & Pension Funds team; and Sandra Teixeira Arsénio (Senior Associate) from Real Estate.
