Sustainability in advising

Companies across all sectors are considering how they can contribute to sustainable development. Through our ESG advice, we support our clients in applying the law in line with their sustainability strategy and requirements, reducing risks and complying with new regulatory requirements.

Sustainable business

We structure our business and procurement processes to ensure compliance with human rights and environmental due diligence obligations in accordance with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). When doing so, we take recognised international human rights standards into account, in particular the Ten principles of the UN Global Compact.

Our published policy statement underlies our approach. In it we have set out our expectations of employees and suppliers and described the procedures for upholding human rights and fulfilling our environmental due diligence obligations.

Our code of conduct for suppliers sets out the corresponding expectations we have of our suppliers and service providers.

Whistle-blower system

The whistle-blower system forms part of our compliance management system and enables staff, business partners and their employees to report anonymously any suspected breaches of the law as well as environmental or human rights-related risks within their own practice area and throughout the supply chain. It is operated in collaboration with EQS Group AG and is designed to facilitate the handling of incoming reports with confidentiality.
