The scale and scope of the global challenges facing society today and tomorrow are enormous. We are all called upon to make changes that ensure a future worth living.
On a global level, CMS has been a member of the UN Global Compact (UNGC) since 2020 and is committed to integrating its ten principles into its corporate strategy, culture and daily work, in addition to contributing to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. This forms the value base for our Sustainability Management at CMS.
Our Sustainability Charter defines how we at CMS Germany intend to fulfil this responsibility, as a law firm and as individuals. It represents our mission and roadmap, setting out our understanding of sustainability along the three dimensions of the economy, the environment and social issues.
In the Charter, we formulate positive images that illustrate our vision of a future worth living. We also present the steps we intend to take as our contribution to that future.
Sustainability can only be achieved together. A large number of interviews were therefore conducted with our internal stakeholders during development of the Sustainability Charter. The feedback from those interviews played a key role in drafting the Charter.
We are currently revising the Sustainability Charter as part of the development of our new sustainability strategy. The aim is to align the Charter with our strategic goals and further develop it as a central element of our future sustainability commitment.
