CMS advises Allianz Real Estate on acquisition of London office buildings worth more than EUR 440 million

Stuttgart – An international CMS team headed by lead partners John Hammond and Hugh Picton Philipps has advised Allianz Real Estate on all legal aspects of acquiring 75% of the shares in a portfolio of office buildings from British Land. The portfolio comprises three office buildings located in London’s West End. The deal is worth around GBP 401 million, or approximately EUR 442 million.

Allianz Real Estate is the strategic real estate investment manager within the Allianz Group. It has become one of the world’s largest real estate investors, with assets under management of EUR 71 billion. CMS regularly advises Allianz on property transactions.
