Hugh is a partner in the Real Estate team.

Hugh provides advice on a full range of real estate services and specialises in institutional investment and development based commercial real estate transactions. Hugh’s clients include institutions, developers and international investors as well as corporate occupiers. His experience includes the sale and purchase of investment properties, geared head leases, development and development management agreements, financing transactions as well as significant commercial lettings.

Relevant experience

  • Brockton Capital on the development, pre-letting and, in 2019, the sale of The Post Building, London. Hugh is also acting on the redevelopment of 60 Curzon Street, a residential led development in Mayfair. 
  • Mitsubishi Estate London on the development, pre-letting and, in 2019 sale of 8 Finsbury Circus. Hugh also acted on the acquisition, for redevelopment, of The London Studios on the South Bank and is acting on the development of 8 Bishopsgate, a new 50 storey tower in the course of development in the heart of the City of London. 
  • Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia on investment and asset management in relation to their portfolio in England.
  • KanAm Grund on investment and asset management transactions including the acquisition of 75 Cornhill and Princes Court in London.
