Frankfurt/Main - The Ecclesia Group is continuing its growth course and has acquired the Pension Solutions Group. The brokerage company with over 120 employees from Erlangen specialises in the implementation and communication of occupational pension solutions. With the takeover of Pension Solutions, the Ecclesia Group is strengthening the area of pension provision and plans to further expand the business segment. Through the strategic merger, the Detmold-based group of companies also intends to become the largest and best-serviced pension broker for client companies in the German-speaking region. The parties involved have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.
A CMS team led by Dr Tobias Kilian and Dr Heike Wagner again provided comprehensive legal advice to the Ecclesia Group on the transaction. CMS and the Ecclesia Group have a long-standing and intensive client relationship. The team led by Kilian and Wagner regularly advises on strategic investments and shareholdings of the group of companies, which has around 2,500 employees.
