Stuttgart – Modine, a diversified global leader in innovative thermal management technology and solutions, has divested three automotive businesses in Germany and sold to affiliates of Regent LP. The respective businesses are located in Neuenkirchen, Pliezhausen and Wackersdorf. They manufacture exhaust recirculation coolers, radiators and charge air cooler modules for automotive internal combustion engine applications in Europe. The divestment is in line with Modine's corporate strategy to focus on higher margin technologies and strong growth drivers. The closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
A CMS team headed by lead partners Dr Jochen Lamb and Dr Carolin Armbruster provided comprehensive legal advice to Modine on the transaction, including the preceding bidding process.
