Felix Fuchs advises on all aspects of German and international insolvency law. His clients include insolvency administrators, members of corporate organs (managing directors, board members, supervisory board members), shareholders, creditors and buyers of insolvent companies. He also takes over litigation, particularly for insolvency administrators and creditors.
His practice furthermore focuses on employment and social security law in the context of insolvencies, advising on the impact of insolvencies on employment issues. Acting for secondary debtors, he defends them against insolvency-related liability claims of social insurance agencies. Felix also advises employers who have received an attachment of earnings order.
In a cross-border context, he advises international creditors on insolvency proceedings in Germany or asserts claims for German creditors and insolvency administrators in other jurisdictions in cooperation with colleagues abroad, including litigation. If required, Felix also coordinates concerted actions in different countries.
After having served as a judge for two years, Felix joined CMS in 2016. In 2019, he was seconded to CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut in Lisbon.
