CMS advises the MAGENWIRTH Technolgies Group on the sale of Powersports MTG GmbH

Stuttgart – ADVIK, a leading automotive product manufacturer, has acquired all shares in Powersports MTG GmbH, a German company specialising in motorcycle mechanical and hydraulic braking systems, as well as clutch systems. ADVIK is thus expanding its product portfolio in the field of powersports and motorcycles and will continue business operations at the location in Bad Urach-Hengen.

A CMS team led by partners Dr Antje Becker-Boley and Dr Barbara Wössner advised Magenwirth on the preparation of the sale by carving out the division of Gustav Magenwirth GmbH & Co. KG to Powersports MTG GmbH. This took place immediately prior to the sale. In addition, advice was provided on the negotiation of the sale and transfer agreement and on the amendments to and the conclusion of supply, distribution and rental agreements.
