Michael Kraus represents and advises companies on all aspects of IT and data protection law. He specialises in IT and outsourcing contracts and in this context primarily advises companies in the finance and insurance industry on e-finance matters. Michael’s practice also includes all IT law aspects of new technologies, such as automation (Industry 4.0), fintech, IoT (Internet of Things), connected cars and big data and he advises his clients on new digital business models. In the context of M&A transactions, Michael drafts and negotiates transitional services agreements. He advises selected start-ups through the CMS equIP programme.

Michael joined CMS in 2010 and is also involved in the training of young lawyers as a lecturer at Ulm Regional Court.
