CMS Financial Institutions Virtual Roundtable

Past event
13 May 2021, 12:30 - 13:45 UTC +00:00

You are invited to join us for the first virtual panel session of our new HR Network “The Exchange” on 13 May 2021.

The Exchange is a peer network bringing together senior HR, HR legal and reward professionals from across our Financial Institutions client base.  The Exchange will provide a forum for our clients and contacts to discuss the people issues most relevant to financial institutions and to share thoughts, ideas and experiences in a safe (Chatham House rule) environment.

For our first session, we will be looking at the impact of Covid (and the new hybrid working model and increased workplace agility) on attitudes towards reward and compensation. We will look at issues such as the impact on executive remuneration and consider the controversial question mark over “Big City” salary weightings (i.e. should these be a thing of the past in a world where talent need not be proximate to corporate HQ?). As we slowly ease out of the national lockdown, these questions become even more important and challenging. Getting it right will be key and the attitudes of those leading on these challenges will be invaluable. Come and join the discussion!

We will be joined by:

  • Louise Rogerson: People Director, Aldermore Bank PLC. Louise has over 20 years’ experience in senior HR roles across a range of sectors and has spearheaded ambitious people strategies which deliver major business growth and performance for global organisations.
  • Andy Manktellow: Head of Executive Remuneration, Legal & General PLC. Andy has over 25 years’ experience working in rewards. Before joining Legal & General 10 years ago, Andy worked as a consultant advising public and private organisations across sectors on a broad range of remuneration issues.
  • Iain Barton: Head of Reward, Employee Relations and Inclusion, AEGON UK PLC. Iain has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Aegon UK since 2016. With a background in employment law, he is committed to employee engagement and building compelling employment value propositions.

We look forward to you joining us.
