We have a market leading public procurement practice, with over 170 procurement specialists in over 50 countries worldwide.  We advise on public sector and utilities procurement across the UK, and all forms of Government contracting.  This includes advising on the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR), the Utilities Contracts Regulations (UCR) and the Concession Contracts Regulations (CCR).  We also regularly advise on defence procurement, including the application of the Single Sourcing Regulations.  We work closely with authorities and utilities on the procurement of major infrastructure and IT projects and outsourcings.  We also regularly assist companies bidding in public procurement processes, helping them to navigate the rules and to retain and win contracts.  Our practice is sector focused, with a particular emphasis on life sciences, energy & utilities, infrastructure & outsourcing, defence and transport.

Alongside our advisory practice, we have strong contentious practice both defending and challenging the award of public sector and utilities contracts.  We regularly act on procurement challenges before the courts in the England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
