FSA Update: FSA announces further integration of financial regulatory services

On 1st January 1999, the FSA began supplying regulatory services under contract to the Building Societies Commission, The Friendly Societies Commission, HM Treasury's Insurance Directorate and the Registry of Friendly Societies. The contracts mirror those that currently exist between FSA and the SRO's. The regulatory staff of all these organisations are now at the Canary Wharf address.
