The familiar Accident Book (Form BI 510) has been replaced by a new HSE-approved version with the aim of making it compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998. It now contains tear-out pages which, after completion, are meant to be detached and kept separately in a secure location. The old version may still be used, but only until 31 December 2003.
