CMS named top firm for Supporting Development at the Professional Pensions Rising Star Awards

International law firm CMS has been crowned winner in the Supporting Development category at the Professional Pensions Rising Star Awards 2020. These awards champion organisations that help to develop and foster young talent in the pensions industry, and recognise the achievements of professionals at the early stages of their career.
 
The Professional Pensions judges commended CMS’s well-rounded approach to developing their pensions lawyers. They praised the firm’s regular know-how sessions, training and the embedded mentoring system.

Earlier in 2020, CMS was named Pensions Law Firm of the Year at the UK Pension and Investment Provider Awards, winning this accolade for the second consecutive year. The CMS Pensions team has had a raft of successes over the past 12 months, including advising on the UK’s biggest ever pensions buy-out transaction (Stanhope Pension Trust’s £4.7 billion deal with Rothesay Life) and advising LifeSight to become the first authorised master trust under The Pensions Regulator’s new authorisation regime.
