Senior Associate with extensive experience in energy, engineering, and construction. Beatriz specializes in renewables such as offshore wind, onshore wind, and solar, offering expertise in negotiation and drafting of EPC and supply chain contracts, including contract management and contract risk allocation. She has contributed to international projects for listed companies across Europe as a key member of their internal teams.

Beatriz is also skilled in dispute resolution within the infrastructure, construction and energy sectors, including ICC arbitration proceedings and litigation. She is a qualified lawyer in Spain since 2008. Beatriz brings over 15 years of expertise. She joined the firm in early 2025 following her roles at Iberdrola, Marsh McLennan, and Ocean Winds where she developed deep knowledge of transactional work and dispute resolution. Drawing from her experience as part of internal teams, she focuses on understanding her clients’ unique challenges and delivering tailored solutions.

  • Iberdrola Renewables and Scottish Power Renewables – providing negotiation and advisory services for key EPCI and supply chain contracts for offshore wind projects in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, including developing the contractual, legal and disputes resolution strategy for the projects.
  • Ocean Winds – providing negotiation and advisory services for key EPCI contracts for an offshore wind project in Poland.
  • Iberdrola Renewables - managing Legal Challenges including litigation procedures with multiple stakeholders, arising from project awards.
  • A multinational construction company - litigation against a state company regarding the deterioration of tubes installed in a nuclear condenser, before a regional court in the Slovak Republic, successfully facilitating a settlement agreement.
  • A multinational construction company in arbitration proceedings (ICC) in London with a Kenyan bank concerning the execution of bank guarantees. A successful settlement was reached before the hearing.
  • A multinational construction company, in consortium with an international manufacturing company, during the pre-arbitration phase with an Algerian state company, preparing reports and reviewing documentation, laying the groundwork for the arbitration claim.
