Caroline joined the Corporate team in May 2013 after qualifying in September 2012.  She advises on a range of transactional work including investments (both private equity and venture capital) and private company M&A.

Relevant experience

  • Mercia, as fund manager of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund and the Finance Yorkshire Seedcorn Fund, on over 60 investments including the £2m investment in Azzure IT.
  • GRI Group on its acquisitions of Expac and I Love Cosmetics.
  • Bank of London and the Middle East in relation to its Shariah compliant acquisitions of properties in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
  • Dubai head-quartered company AWR Rostamani on its acquisition of a majority stake in Brayleys Car.
  • Management and technology consultancy BearingPoint on its acquisition of LCP Consulting.
  • Precision Technologies in relation to the private equity and leverage debt backed management buy in/buyout.  The transaction was awarded National Deal of the Year at the South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards 2016.
  • AIM-listed Hydrodec Group plc, on the disposal of its UK waste oil collections business and proposed UK lubricant re-refining project.
