International law firm CMS has advised Harley Academy, the UK’s leading provider of higher education in aesthetic medicine, on an investment from private equity firm Rockpool Investments.

Harley Academy was founded by Dr Tristan Mehta in 2016 with a mission to improve aesthetic medicine and patient safety through the creation of a regulated standard and a body of medically-trained practitioners. This investment will allow Harley Academy to accelerate its growth, expand its educational offerings, and solidify its position as a leader in aesthetic medicine education.

CMS Corporate Partner Anthony Waller commented: “We are delighted to have advised Harley Academy on this transaction, which will help in its mission to make aesthetic medicine safe by putting an end to unregulated practices. Tristan and the team have great plans for Harley Academy, and I wish them every success.”

CEO and founder of Harley Academy Tristan Mehta added: “I am very proud of the work the team has delivered over the years, and this investment from Rockpool is the start of an exciting new phase of growth for us. I’m very grateful to Anthony and the CMS team for their support and advice throughout the process.”

The CMS team was led by Anthony Waller, with support from Jamie Burgess, Caroline Walker, Peter Bentley, Dimitar Kadiyski, Mark Joscelyne, Neal Chandru, Andrew Quayle, Mala Patel and Sam Srikanth (Corporate); Ruth Marken and Yasmin Hook (Finance); and Emma Sweetman, Amelia Goodair, Gary Henderson and Vicky Hudson (Employment).
