Catherine McAndrew is an experienced dispute resolution solicitor in our Insurance and Reinsurance Group based in our Sheffield office. She has worked for CMS since 2016, developing her expertise within industrial disease and employers’ liability and public liability litigations. Catherine is a skilled litigator and keen and confident advocate.

With a particular interest in defendant personal injury claims, Catherine has built a practice acting for large self-insured clients, as well as a central government department, though she also has vast experience of acting on behalf of large insurance companies. Catherine has an interest in liability claims with an international aspect and has experience of advising on and handling matters in relation to accidents abroad. Catherine also has experience in handling property damage claims ranging from cable damage matters to damage caused by fire, escapes of water and escapes of oil.
