Daria is a Senior Associate in London Litigation & Arbitration team. She is qualified to practice law in Russia and admitted to the New York State Bar. Daria’s dispute resolution experience includes commercial and investment arbitrations under the major arbitration rules. She has represented the clients in project disputes involving Russia, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Daria is a member of Young ICCA, LCIA YIAG, and ICC YAF.

Relevant experience

  • An American technology company offering energy and water resource management services against a UAE ICT infrastructure and services integration company in a consolidated DIFC-LCIA arbitration relating to an alleged breach of a Teaming Agreement.  The dispute involves the provision of goods and services to an electricity and water authority in the MENA region.  The arbitration is governed by English law and seated in the DIFC.
  • The largest private Indian construction company in parallel UNCITRAL and ICC proceedings with an African state and its ministry of transportation in relation to a USD 3bn port and rail project. The ICC proceeding is governed by Mozambican law and seated in Maputo. 
  • The largest Russian energy company in consolidated SCC and ICSID arbitration against Georgia, relating to the breach of Georgia’s undertakings with regard to the adjustment of electricity tariffs following Georgia’s currency depreciation.
