Jenny has 14 years experience of acting for employers, contractors and consultants in connection with construction, engineering, energy and infrastructure disputes within the UK and internationally. She has experience of both litigation and alternative dispute resolution procedures, including adjudication, arbitration, expert determination and mediation. She also has extensive experience of acting in a project advisory capacity, assisting client teams with addressing and managing risks during the delivery of projects.

Relevant experience

  • An energy company in a multi-million pound international arbitration in relation to significant delay and defect claims concerning the construction and installation of an offshore windfarm
  • A contractor on a £140m+ multi-party dispute concerning Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital
  • An employer in multi-party litigation proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court in London in relation to disputes concerning termination, delay and significant defects in connection with an EPC Contract for the design, construction, installation, commissioning and testing of a new energy from waste plant
  • An employer under an IChemE Burgundy Book target cost contract in relation to a number of adjudications and an expert determination concerning time and money claims and significant defect issues involving one of Europe's largest anaerobic energy from waste plants
  • A local authority on the resolution of significant structural defects claims against a contractor under a schools PFI programme.
