Jessica Sharpe is a Senior Associate in the Insurance And Re-Insurance Group (IRG), Defendant Clinical Negligence and Medical Advisory/Professional Discipline & Regulatory team based in the Sheffield Office. She has specialised in clinical negligence since qualifying with Nabarro in 2011. Jessica has acted for the Medical Defence Union (MDU) for over ten years and has also worked with all other main Medical Defence Organisations and the NHSR. She has vast experience in defending clinical negligence claims against GPs, dentists, nurses and private clinicians, and providing assistance with inquests and inquiries. These claims often involve complex medical and legal issues as well as being of high value. She has also represented clinicians appearing before their regulatory bodies, Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service and General Dental Council and can represent healthcare professionals and Trusts at Inquests.
