Karan is an associate specialising in dispute resolution and avoidance in the infrastructure, construction, and energy sectors. He is dual-qualified in Scots and Indian law.

Before joining CMS, Karan worked at a major international firm and an Indian advocates’ chambers.

  • A wind power company in relation to complex payment and inflation adjustment clauses.
  • A rapid transit operator in relation to a manufacture and supply agreement on several issues, including complex inflation-adjustment clauses, delay, variations, and financial guarantees.
  • A train operating company in relation to allocation of responsibilities under a technical support and spare supply agreement.
