Kate Bagger is an Associate in the Employment Team. She joined the firm as a trainee in 2019 and qualified into the team in 2021. She advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including Employment Tribunal litigation, corporate transactions, workplace investigations and day-to-day employment issues. She works across a range of sectors, including financial institutions and professional services, media and technology, aviation and consumer products.

Kate is also involved in CMS’s corporate social responsibility work and regularly supports a range of pro bono clients in relation to employment law issues. 

Relevant experience

  • An aviation client with all its employment law needs including advising on both commercial and general HR issues.
  • A household name technology client in relation to a complex whistleblowing and unfair dismissal claim.
  • A financial services firm in respect of multiple redundancy processes.
  • An independent external review into workplace relations concerns for a global professional services firm.

  • 2021 – Admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.
  • 2019 – Legal Practice Course (Distinction), University of Law.
  • 2018 – BA in Law (First Class), University of Cambridge.
