Lee is a Senior Associate specialising in the resolution of construction, infrastructure and energy disputes.  She works closely with clients to provide strategic advice as well as advising when disputes have become formalised. She is well versed in adjudication, arbitration (international and domestic) and mediation and regularly acts for clients in high value litigation.  Lee has experience in managing commercial risk and disputes under bespoke and standard form contracts.

Lee is also involved in AI initiatives within the firm focusing on internal processes and efficiencies to benefit clients and client services. 

Relevant experience

  • Data centre disputes – investor clients in defending claims for extension of time and loss and expense arising from a delay to the completion of a multi-million-pound data centre.
  • Broadband infrastructure disputes – telecommunications client in avoiding and managing claims arising from a contract for the installation of high-speed broadband infrastructure including defending and pursuing claims through a series of adjudications.
  • Infrastructure disputes – UAE based contractor in pursuing a multi-million-pound claim through arbitration in respect of the construction of transport infrastructure.  The dispute centred around issues of delay, disruption and prolongation costs and required the managing and presenting complex delay and quantum expert evidence.
  • Energy disputes – assisting various clients with disputes arising from wind farms and energy plants.
  • Fire safety claims – developer and investor clients in pursuing claims relating to fire safety including contractual claims and claims arising from the Building Safety Act.  Several claims are litigated in the Court of Session.
  • Public sector – advising public sector clients and contractor clients on several separate disputes arising from defect and time and money claims in relation to school and hospital projects.
